Our Catford Green nursery are looking for Nursery Assistants and Nursery Practitioners to work as bank staff covering shifts working on a zero hours contract.

The ideal candidate must have:
- A full & relevant Level 2 qualification or above in Early Years
- Experience working in a nursery
- An interest in working with young children (from 0-5 years)
- Team player
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to use initiative
- A passion for the Early Years

The successful applicant will be required to undertake online safeguarding training and all positions are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Key Responsibilities
- Building good relationships with the parents
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the management team or DSL
- Adhering to Little Elms policies and procedures
- To provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive and to deliver high standards of childcare and education.
- To meet the requirements of the EYFS and Statutory Framework at all times.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience of working with children between the age of 3 months β 5 years.
- Experience of working in partnership with parents with the ability to sensitively and professionally handle any difficult/challenging situations.
- A working knowledge of health and safety within a childcare environment, how to risk assess and Little Elms Daycare Nursery
- Take action to reduce potential for accidents/injury.
- An understanding of the EYFS and Statutory Framework
