Job Description

We are a family‑run childcare provider that aims to provide affordable childcare for all families and offers the highest salary recognition for qualified practitioners.

We support unqualified team members through our apprenticeship programme.

This role is for a skilled and experienced Nursery Room Manager based in Greenwich to lead and inspire our early years team in delivering high‑quality care and education to all children.

The nursery offers state‑of‑the‑art facilities with bright, spacious indoor rooms and fabulous outdoor areas.

Salary is up to £31,200 per year, depending on experience, and the position is full‑time (40 hours per week, five days a week).

The company cannot sponsor international workers; evidence of the right to work in the UK is required.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of high‑quality care and education for all children and support and develop the team.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a Nursery Practitioner role or equivalent leadership position
  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and statutory framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and lead and inspire a team
  • Passion for children demonstrated in daily interactions
  • Flexibility and strong role‑model qualities
  • Strong time‑management and commitment to providing high‑quality education and care
  • Experience leading Ofsted inspections and understanding of the EYFS
  • Ability to build a culture of kindness, transparency and commitment as a leader

  • Successful candidate will undertake online safeguarding training and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.
