Description
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant nursery in Shirley. Work in a welcoming, purpose‑built environment with bright indoor rooms and fabulous outdoor play areas.
Salary & Bonus
Competitive salary up to £29,120 per year. £1,000 welcome bonus (£500 on first pay, £500 after 6‑month probation). Full‑time 40 hours per week with flexible working options.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality early years education for children in the nursery
- Plan and deliver daily activities in line with EYFS and statutory framework
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive development
- Maintain clear records and communicate progress to parents
- Work as part of a team to deliver a positive learning environment
- Use own initiative and present a genuine passion for early years education
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience as Nursery Practitioner or similar role
- Level 2/3 or above qualification in Early Years Childcare
- Solid grasp of EYFS and statutory framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence and initiative in daily tasks
- Passion for early years education shown in interactions
