Due to an increase in numbers, Little Einsteins Day Nursery Ltd – Wheatley in Doncaster, are looking for an experienced early years practitioner to join our team as Room Leader to work within our baby room. You will be part of the nursery’s Leadership and Management team supporting the Nursery Manager where you will assist in further developing the quality of the setting and ensuring that the nursery continues to promote Outstanding practice and meets the needs of our children and their families.
We provide an environment that reflects the needs of our children and their families and therefore require a reflective and dynamic practitioner who can identify what is needed to ensure that our children are safe, secure and learn in an environment where children are not treated the same, but as individuals. This post is 40 hours per week all year round, although part‑time/job share may be considered – part‑time minimum of 30 hours per week.

Essential Criteria- Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent
- At least 2 years working in a childcare environment
- Flexible to work between the hours of 7 am and 6:15 pm
- Experience of leading early years practitioners (desirable)
- Positive role model for children and practitioners
- Exemplary knowledge of the EYFS
- Understanding of how children learn through their play in an environment where their interests are respected and supported
- Knowledge of how to support children’s individual needs
- Passion for learning outdoors
- References and an Enhanced DBS are required for this position
