Little Ears is a vibrant independent venue in Newquay, serving quality, seasonal food in a relaxed, welcoming setting. We are looking for a talented Head Chef or experienced Senior Sous Chef ready to take the lead in our kitchen and help drive the food offering forward.

The Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Deliver consistently high-quality dishes in line with our concept
  • Manage and motivate a small, hands-on kitchen team
  • Take ownership of menus, specials and seasonal changes
  • Control GP, stock, ordering and waste
  • Ensure all food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures are followed

About You

  • Experienced Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in a fresh food operation
  • Passionate about seasonal, quality ingredients and great presentation
  • Strong leader who leads by example and supports their team
  • Calm and organised under pressure with great communication skills
  • Solid understanding of kitchen financials and GP control
  • Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and HACCP
