Riverside Nursery Schools is looking for passionate and dedicated Early Years Educators, qualified or unqualified, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children; a strong background in early childhood education is a bonus. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in our nursery setting.
You will be responsible for supporting child-led learning and educational activities, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of care and support.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's learning and development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall quality of childcare provided within the nursery.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education and childcare.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safeguarding policies.
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is desirable, but not essential as we have unqualified roles available.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to fostering children's development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of managing individual responsibilities effectively.
