Join Our Wonderful Team as a Room Lead at Sancton Wood Nursery, Cambridge! We're excited to welcome a Room Lead to our expanding, vibrant nursery family in Cambridge. Our newly refurbished nursery is perfectly located near the train station, with convenient on-site bike and car parking. Sancton Wood Nursery is a nurturing, family-friendly environment, supporting children aged 12 months to 4 years, and is celebrated for its outstanding approach to each child's social and emotional development.
Our spacious outdoor garden is a magical space for little explorers! With Forest School sessions, a large climbing frame, a water pump, and a sandpit, children have endless opportunities to develop physically, creatively, and socially in a safe and inspiring setting.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and excited about opportunities for professional growth and development.
The Role- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm (with flexible early/late start or finish rota)
- Nursery open 48 weeks a year, closed at Christmas, Easter, and two weeks in August
- Additional 5 days holiday plus public holidays outside of nursery closures
- Level 3 (or equivalent) in EYFS or above
- Experience working with 1-2-year-olds
- Previous experience in a Room Lead or supervisory role
- Paediatric first aid qualification
