We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practitioner to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to children within a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate must have current experience in childcare and early childhood education. The Practitioner will play a vital role in fostering a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children, ensuring their developmental needs are met with professionalism and empathy.

Duties

  • Deliver personalised care and support to children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Organise and supervise age-appropriate experiences that stimulate learning and creativity.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure consistent high standards.
  • Manage daily routines, including meal times, rest periods, and educational experience.
  • Support colleagues through effective management of responsibilities and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • Recognised Childcare Qualification (CCLD Level 3, HNC or equivalent).
  • Current experience with children, within nursery or early childhood education settings is a MUST.
  • Strong awareness and understanding of all relevant guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage positively with children and parents alike.
  • Knowledge of childcare practices, health & safety standards, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team environment, demonstrating organisation and reliability.
  • Passionate about early childhood development with a caring attitude towards children's wellbeing.
