Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Senior Social Media Manager to join our Agency team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a high profile sporting brand and would be suited to a keen basketball enthusiast, with a good knowledge of teams and players.
You will be the main day-to-day point of contact for the client and will be responsible for leading a team of community managers, designers and editors to deliver against the client's strategic objectives. The role focuses on content ideation, planning, stakeholder management and workflow management, with the experience of having worked with/for a league, federation, sports team, sports rightsholder or agency in a digital content role essential.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in growing audiences across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and YouTube, and have a deep understanding of algorithmic nuances across those platforms. Experience in working across multilingual content output is very desirable. Excellent communication and planning skills are vital. Whilst not essential, the ability to communicate in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Turkish or Arabic would be an advantage.
Regular attendance at the client's offices in central London is required, whilst some weekend and out-of-hours work will be needed. International travel on occasion will be applicable.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME- Delivering the execution of the localised social media strategy in key territories in Europe and the Middle East to drive strategic objectives;
- Owning regular dialogue with the client and stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives across all key markets and communicating the state of play;
- Planning and maintaining weekly and monthly content calendars across multiple channels and accounts;
- Resourcing and briefing editors and designers to create market-specific content for each territory;
- Directing the wider In-Market Community Managers' daily tasks, working with them to ideate and execute localised content;
- Content ideation, creation and publication across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok;
- Overseeing projects, workflow, and deadlines and ensuring consistent high-quality work;
- Ensuring output is engaging and optimised for the platform with the efficient application of channel metadata to optimise content;
- Overseeing community management across all channels;
- Developing and maintaining the brand tone of voice and visual identity;
- Monitoring performance of content using platform analytics;
- Social listening; monitoring conversations in relevant areas and engaging when appropriate.
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything. Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube & TikTok); Excellent knowledge of basketball, players and teams, teamed with experience in managing high-profile brands/accounts on Social Media; Managing a pool of editors and designers and the briefing process; Excellent understanding of platform analytics and reporting; Managing a team of community managers in different geo-locations and timezones; Strong experience in community management; Basic Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects skills are beneficial; Planning content output across multiple territories and timezones to maximise reach and performance.
