We realise potential in Your Story. Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi‑platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Senior Social Media Manager to join our Sport team on a fixed term basis.

As Senior Social Media Manager, you will be the key client contact, leading the editorial strategy across multiple social channels (X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) for a motorsport client. You will oversee content creation with in‑house designers and external creators, manage a team for content ideation, planning and publishing, and demonstrate experience in growing audiences across X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok with a deep understanding of algorithmic nuances of these platforms. You will also have a real interest in platform analytics and work with a team of analysts to extract, understand and interpret data to turn into actionable insights. Attendance at the client’s offices outside of London is required, whilst some weekend and out‑of‑hours work will be needed.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Owning regular dialogue with the client team to deliver strategic objectives and communicating the state of play, building a really strong, positive, collaborative relationship built on mutual respect and trust.
  • Delivering the execution of the social media strategy in line with strategic objectives.
  • Overseeing the planning and maintaining of weekly and monthly content calendars across multiple channels and accounts.
  • Line managing the Social Media Exec (day‑to‑day workflow and deadlines) and managing a designer to create scroll‑stopping visuals across the full suite of channels.
  • Working closely with the Partnerships Director and Senior Content Strategist to ensure wider strategic objectives are being considered and delivered against.
  • Managing upwards successfully to ensure any issues are communicated and resolved quickly.
  • Ensuring continual and responsible best‑practice in content ideation, creation and publication across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and Snap.
  • Overseeing projects, workflow and deadlines and ensuring consistent high‑quality work.
  • Overseeing community management across all channels.
  • Developing and maintaining brand tone of voice and visual identity.
  • Confidently guiding the client and the wider team through the implementation of strategic recommendations.
  • Monitoring performance of content using platform analytics and working closely with the analyst team to gain insights into channel and content performance, utilising those insights to drive improvements and growth.
  • Creating regular in‑depth insights reports and presenting the reports back to the client.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Strong knowledge of and passion for motorsport is crucial.
  • Exceptional knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snap) and of publishing content there.
  • Excellent understanding of platform analytics and reporting.
  • A strong track record of developing and building positive relationships – becoming a trusted and relied upon advisor.
  • Basic video editing and graphic design skills are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of working in Asana or similar project management tools is also a benefit.
  • Planning content output across multiple territories and time zones to maximise reach and performance.
  • Experience managing a team of social producers, editors, designers and community managers across 365‑day delivery demands.
  • Working seamlessly with the client’s in‑house team to deliver the most engaging content.
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports to mentor and set them up for success.
