Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are an award winning digital content studio and media network who are currently on a quest to find a Podcast Editor to join our team at History Hit. History Hit is part of Little Dot Studios and is the UK’s biggest digital history brand. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to start their career in the podcast industry.
The Editor will be responsible for editing 3 to 5 audio/video podcast episodes per week, uploading podcasts, and collaborating with Producers and talent to create high‑quality content. This opportunity is perfect for someone with great audio/video editing skills and looking to grow a career in podcasts – a passion for history is essential!

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME- Produce and finalise 2–3 high‑quality edits per week.
- Collaborate closely with the production team, including Producers and Junior Editors.
- Develop high‑standard films, promotional content and social media assets.
- Implement post‑compliance editorial revisions.
- Integrate and understand the effective use of animations and graphics in edits.
- Oversee asset intake and final delivery processes.
- Knowledge of History Hit and its associated podcast brands, passion for history and a solid understanding of the YouTube platform is imperative.
- Proven experience as an editor on professional productions.
- Proficiency in Adobe packages (especially Premiere Pro), DaVinci Resolve and other key grading software.
- Comprehensive understanding of audio requirements for podcast production.
- Capability to manage the full project lifecycle: receiving and organising rushes, syncing, grading and final delivery.
- Knowledge of music, SFX, animation and archive libraries, alongside strong asset management skills.
- Confident animator with experience using both Photoshop & After Effects and knowledge of software including Midjourney, ElevenLabs & Unreal Engine.
- Demonstrated ability to plan work independently and manage multiple, simultaneous deadlines.
- Experience working on multiple projects at different stages concurrently.
- Excellent time management, ability to consistently meet deadlines, effective interpersonal skills and a desire to take on feedback and learn.
- Experience working specifically on podcast productions is greatly desired.
