Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Tech Operations team.
Reporting to the Group Technical Operations Director, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will lead a business-critical cloud transformation project; overseeing the migration of our locally-hosted edit workstations and core infrastructure services into a cloud-native AWS environment. The role will also be pivotal in redesigning our media ingest pipeline, reducing reliance on on-premises hardware across our global operations. You will act as the primary technical liaison between LDS and our strategic external partner, ensuring that business requirements are met and project milestones are hit.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of media and post-production workflows and be an expert systems integrator. Beyond the AWS transformation, a key part of the remit is to improve security within our GCP environment. You will oversee the provision and hardening of infrastructure, and ensure we comply with LDS Group compliance standards, allowing our developers to focus on product. As such you will maintain a dotted-line relationship with the Director of Data, Tech & Product.
PERKS OF THE JOB
We are proud to be an award-winning, B Corp™ Certified workplace with employee wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. We offer hybrid and flexi-time working, mental health and wellbeing programmes, enhanced gender-neutral parental leave, interest-free financial support and a digital nomad policy that allows you to work from abroad in two one-week blocks a year. Plus all the usuals such as pension contributions, annual leave and office perks like free lunches, socials, and health treatments!
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Lead the redesign and migration of locally hosted edit workstations and infrastructure to a cloud-native model, ensuring a seamless experience for global staff.
- Design the architectural shift of the current ingest pipeline to AWS, optimising for scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Act as the primary technical liaison for the business and our partner, ensuring project milestones align with strategic business needs.
- Drive a DevOps culture within Tech Ops, and collaborate closely with Data, Tech & Product to implement deployment, monitoring and compliance protocols that align with LDS Group policy.
- Oversee and maintain the security posture of both GCP and AWS environments, implementing rigorous access controls and monitoring.
- Manage the full technology lifecycle of the cloud migration, from conceptualisation and partner briefing to implementation, and transition to service delivery.
- Create and maintain detailed architectural records of the new cloud infrastructure and ingest workflows.
- Own and optimise the integration architecture and API connections across History Hit's SVOD ecosystem, ensuring seamless data flow and service reliability between core platforms including Auth0, Zapier, Klaviyo, Acast, and Vimeo.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Advanced proficiency in configuring and managing AWS environments, specifically for compute-heavy and media-centric workloads.

- Proven experience working in a DevOps model, including CI/CD principles and automated infrastructure management.
- Working knowledge of GCP security and administration.
- Strong foundation in network engineering (LAN/WAN), TCP/IP principles, and storage systems.
- Proficiency with SSO integrations and IAM (Okta preferred).
- The ability to translate complex cloud architecture into non-technical language for business stakeholders.
- Must be a strong communicator and proactive in bridging the gap between Tech Ops and DTP.
- The ability to work without direct supervision while maintaining rigorous attention to detail under pressure.
