We Realise Potential in Your Story. Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently looking for a Digital Rights Coordinator to join our Strategic Operations team.
The Digital Rights Coordinator is responsible for managing digital rights, handling copyright disputes, and driving monetisation strategies for our partners on YouTube and Facebook. You will maintain rights information, conduct catalogue sweeps, and provide key performance insights through analytics to support client accounts. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in YouTube Content ID and rights management, alongside strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset. HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Managing digital rights on YouTube and Facebook and other social media platforms.
- Navigating copyright disputes and appeals across YouTube and Facebook, and using platform policies and rights information to determine appropriate resolutions.
- Uploading reference files & complete manual catalogue sweeps.
- Conducting proactive catalogue sweeps across assigned clients to identify unclaimed content, rights gaps and monetisation opportunities & sweep TXing titles.
- Keeping rights information up to date.
- Assisting with Traffic Light documents and research into potential clients.
- Using analytics to find trends and inform workflow.
- Coordinating asset ownership and resolve ownership conflicts.
- Maintaining up-to-date understanding of the rights and asset management tools of platforms.
- Participating in developing, maintaining and continuously improving the digital asset workflow and supporting tools.
- Supporting client accounts by providing regular updates and insights on catalogue performance and rights activity.
- Preparing and presenting client-facing reports, highlighting key insights, trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintaining good communication with the rest of the team, the Head of the Department and other teams within the business, and with clients.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Strong data management and reporting skills.
- Deep expertise in YouTube Content ID and digital rights management frameworks.
- Experience managing copyright claims, disputes, and appeals effectively.
- Basic video editing competency, with a preference for DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent professional communication, including clear email etiquette and positive client relations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current YouTube monetisation strategies.
- Proficient in Google Sheets.
- Bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset to technical and operational challenges.
- Ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment, work independently and take ownership of projects, and collaborate more broadly with a wider team.
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of the digital media landscape.
- Show a keen and ongoing interest in digital platforms and emerging online trends.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of YouTube Studio and CMS tools.
