We Realise Potential in Your Story. Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find an Account Director to join our Agency team on a fixed term basis for maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in delivering industry-defining work for some of the world’s biggest sports and entertainment brands.
Reporting into the Director of Client Services, the Account Director will oversee a portfolio of accounts covering all aspects of digital content. As the senior relationship lead for each client, you will be responsible for managing multiple workflows across social media management, creative, production, operations, strategy and more. The role involves managing client budgets, developing and implementing resourcing plans and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. The successful candidate will therefore be able to demonstrate exceptional relationship and project management skills, and will have the ability to multitask, troubleshoot effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines. HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Overseeing a portfolio of accounts across the worlds of sport and entertainment, with responsibility for ensuring exceptional client servicing across that portfolio.
- Acting as the senior agency contact for client stakeholders, developing strong relationships built on mutual respect and trust.
- Managing a Senior Account Manager, plus managing and mentoring delivery teams across a range of agency functions for the successful delivery of the scope.
- Developing strategies for clients (alongside the agency strategy team) and bringing a deep understanding of a client’s objectives to those strategic conversations.
- Liaising with multiple business areas internally to ensure full alignment across complex client scopes, and to manage and prioritise deliverables effectively.
- Keeping project delivery under constant review, making proactive suggestions and recommendations and ensuring best-in-class delivery at all times.
- Managing multiple workflows to ensure complex client projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.
- Managing resourcing levels across accounts and projects, in line with budgets and shifting client requirements and priorities, ensuring resourcing plans are optimised.
- Guiding the creation and presenting of in-depth insights reports, using a mixture of quantitative and qualitative data - ensuring recommendations and agreed action points are implemented as necessary.
- Identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities and working with the Director of Client Services (DCS) and other business units to develop those opportunities.
- Spotting potential challenges on the horizon, flagging up to DCS and working collaboratively to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- First class project management skills, with the ability to multitask across several different work-streams, prioritising effectively.
- A track record of having developed strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.
- Commercial acumen and budget management is a must.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- The ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally in order to deliver desired outcomes and maintain excellent relationships.
- A track record of managing and motivating delivery teams.
- In depth knowledge of the digital and social media landscape, with the ability to discuss social strategy with confidence.
- Experience of managing and mentoring teams to deliver success.
