Job Summary:
We are looking for housekeeping staff to join our team and assist with changeover cleans of our luxury holiday cottages on Mondays and/or Fridays from March to September. A rewarding position in a beautiful setting using natural cleaning materials. Must be able to work during school holidays, on Mondays and/or Fridays for 3-6 hours from 10am. There may be opportunities for year round work if desired, depending on performance.
Your attention to detail and ability to work in a team and independently will contribute to creating a clean and welcoming environment for our customers and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Strip and make beds
- Assist with in house laundry, washing and ironing
- Clean and tidy cottage gardens
- Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning
- Close communication and reporting to housekeeping supervisor
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Required Experience:
- Employment as a Housekeeper working to a high standard
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Organised and good at prioritising tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Team worker
- Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding role
- Motivated and positive attitude
- Well presented, clean and tidy
- A passion for the environment and sustainability
Highly Desirable:
- Previous housekeeping training qualification
