Salaried GP Maternity Leave Cover (Fixed-Term Contract up to 31st December 2027). We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed General Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive, and motivated practice team. This post is to cover a maternity leave position for 5 sessions per week, for a fixed term of 20 months.
Main duties of the job: You will be dealing with a very wide variety of health needs in a primary care setting working individually and as part of a team to ensure a very high standard of care for all our practice patients. You will also carry out administrative and associated clinical duties in relation to the position. We are an EMIS practice.

We are a GP surgery located right in the heart of Bushey subserving over 6000 patients. We have a warm and welcoming environment here and run the practice with an open and honest policy. Everyone is treated with respect and we see each other as family. Our practice team comprises of GPs, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, HCA, Phlebotomists, Clinical Pharmacist, First Contact Physiotherapists, Receptionists and Admin Staff.
Job responsibilities: The post-holder will manage and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients.
Person Specification:
- Experience: Previous experience working in a primary care setting.
- Qualifications: Qualified GP, MRCGP, full GMC registration, and on the National Performers List.
