A supportive nursery role with no take-home paperwork and well-staffed rooms. We are recruiting a Level 3 qualified Early Years Room Leader to join our calm, nurturing and child-centred nursery. Our leadership team work alongside staff daily, and practitioners are supported to leave work at work and settle long-term in their role.
About us: We are a calm, nurturing nursery that prioritises relationships and emotional safety for both children and staff. Our practice is influenced by a hygge-inspired, curiosity-led approach. The environment is warm and unhurried, and rooms are carefully organised to maintain comfortable group sizes. Children explore at their own pace and practitioners focus on meaningful interactions. We use an in-the-moment planning approach, so there are no lengthy written plans. All learning records are completed within paid working hours, and leadership staff support rooms to maintain ratios and allow uninterrupted breaks.
You will lead a room on a day-to-day basis, support colleagues and model calm, respectful practice within a reflective team culture.
Working pattern: 40 hours across 5 x 8-hour days.

- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
