On behalf of our Mildenhall based client we are looking for MACHINE OPERATIVES to join their NIGHT SHIFT.
Main responsibilities include:
Diagnose minor faults and rectify if able to do so.
Inspect and record all Quality data for turned parts produced.
Complete all paperwork accurately and in full.
Input data to computerised systems.
Understand and follow Quality instructions and control plans.
Wash, weigh and pack components ready for the next process.
Communicate with team leader and escalate any issues immediately.
Work safely ensuring PPE worn an all required areas.
Keep machine and work areas clean and tidy.
Prepare material for machines.
Be responsible for machine hand tools.
Follow waste stream guidelines.
Adhere to company policies.
Any other reasonable requests.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE The successful candidate will be:
A self-starter with good organisational ability.
Previous experience of running high paced production machinery.
A good time keeper.
Good attention to detail.
Good hand to eye co-ordination.
Strong visual capabilities.
Good numeracy and literacy.
Must work well in a team environment.
English language and literacy at an Intermediate level.
There will be a training period of up to 4 weeks, during which time the pay rate is £12.51 per hour Once trained you will move to your shift and the pay rate will be £18.39 per hour.
