We’re looking for an Organic Search Executive to join the Organic Search & Content team at One Degree North. If you have 1-2 years of agency experience and are looking for a new challenge in an agency where Search is at the forefront of everything we do, then this one’s for you!
The Role
- Support the wider team in delivering the organic search strategy for a range of B2B clients.
- Conduct keyword research, account audits and wider overviews of performance, using tools like Semrush, Search Console and Screaming Frog.
- Plan and create content briefs based on research and the pre‑defined overarching strategy.
- Produce content that can be used across a wide variety of channels, including on‑site and social.
- Contribute on monthly and quarterly performance reports, ensuring fluctuations are documented and understood.
- Report in to the Organic Search & Content Lead.
The Right Person
- 1-2 years of experience working in an agency. This is a junior position with room to grow.
- Someone who is proactive and always learning – if there’s something you don’t know, be willing to ask or learn.
- Not only a good copywriter, but someone who can follow a brief and understands individual client nuance, TOV and messaging.
- Has a high attention to detail. Everyone makes mistakes, but our clients hold us to high account, and as such we expect our team to be able to pick up and resolve errors and discrepancies quickly.
- Has experience using WordPress, uploading and editing content within the CMS.
- Is someone who’s willing to get stuck in to get the job done, and is comfortable with every day being different!
We’d Like It If You Have
- Experience working with B2B clients across finance, tech and professional service sectors.
- A broad understanding of our primary channels aside from organic search (paid media, CRO, social, web development (digital) & design) and how they work within the wider strategy of each client.
- An interest in AI search and how this is shaping the future of organic search.
- Some exposure to strategy and understanding the “why”. The role of our entire team is to create impact and add value to everything we do, not to churn things out at pace.
Working Location
- LS2 creative office location with tons of amenities on your doorstep.
- Hybrid, flexible working: Work from wherever you want up to 3 days per week, with 2 team office days per week (Tues & Thurs).
