Overview:
We are looking for a qualified swimming teacher to join our expending team We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for water safety and education.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct swim lessons following provided curriculum and guidelines.
- Instruct students on swimming techniques and water safety.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Create a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area.
Requirements:

MUST ALREADY BE QUALIFIED WITH EITHER; STA AWARD COURSE OR SWIM ENGLAND LEVEL 2.

Previous experience as a fully qualified teacher is preferred.
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with students of various ages and skill levels.
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of different strokes.

Must be reliable, patient, and able to work well with children

Must have or be willing to obtain STA water safety award or equivalent.

Baby and preschool qualification is proffered but not essential.

We are a small, private pool providing group lessons to the local community and beyond. We run lessons 7 days per week;
Monday – Friday 9:45-7:45
Saturday 8:45-2:45
Sunday 8:45-1:45
The shifts currently available are Friday 3:45-7:45 and Sunday 8:45-1:45.
Weekly lessons are term time only. Teaching opportunities are also available during the school holidays in the form of crash courses and one off 121 lessons. There is also the option of the weekend shifts being extended should the demand be there.
All teaching is done from in the water, the pool is heated and maintained at 32 degrees. Group lessons are small with only a maximum of 4 children per class. We are also popular with 121 and 221 lessons.
