General Assistant

Position: General Assistant (Full-Time, 40 hours per week)
Location: Ocean Adventurers, Cheddar Business Park, Cheddar

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as General Assistants. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the smooth day-to-day operation of our facility, with a particular focus on café service and party hosting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering a warm and friendly welcome to all guests, helping them feel at home.
• Assisting with café and food service, including food preparation, coffee making, and serving at the till.
• Serving food and drinks with a smile, ensuring families have a relaxing and enjoyable visit.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across the play areas and café.
• Supporting with general upkeep, such as tidying play zones, resetting tables, and assisting children with role play activities.
• Interacting positively with guests, including parents and children, to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure smooth operations and memorable visits.
• Demonstrating our company values at all times: Accountable, Reliable, Caring, and Honest (ARCH).

What We\’re Looking For:

• Aged 18+
• Able to commit to a full-time 40-hour week
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings or late nights
• Previous experience in hospitality and customer service (essential)
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service
