What You\’ll Be Doing

• Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting
• Be a trusted key holder and step confidently into leadership in the Manager\’s absence
• Coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding practice
• Lead on learning and development strategies for children and staff
• Champion our inclusive, outdoor-rich, child-led curriculum
• Build strong, positive relationships with families and the wider community
• Help drive enrolment and build the nursery\’s local reputation
• Stay up to date with legislation and be a safeguarding champion across the setting

What We\’re Looking For

We\’re searching for a motivated, reflective leader with the passion and purpose to deliver exceptional outcomes for children, families and staff.

• Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• 2+ years\’ experience in a nursery setting, with previous leadership experience
• Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and best practice
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills
• Ability to inspire, support and develop others
• A calm, flexible approach with a \”solutions not problems\” mindset
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
