Our R&D Power Module Process Engineer is responsible for evaluating, developing, and optimizing semiconductor module production processes, with a strong focus on IGBT modules. This role requires deep hands-on experience across module manufacturing steps, problem identification, and process isolation. The engineer will play a key role in establishing, troubleshooting, and potentially leading an independent production-lab sequence.

About the Position:

  • Evaluate and analyze manufacturing processes to ensure performance, quality, and reliability
  • Diagnose, isolate, and troubleshoot process deviations when necessary
  • Apply different analytical and evaluation techniques to address various production problems
  • Test semiconductor chips (IGBT) and identify both process-related and chip-related issues
  • Understand and manage the full sequence of module process flow
  • Handle and evaluate soldering processes, including defect analysis and optimization
  • Perform and support wire-bonding processes and assess bond quality and reliability
  • Propose alternative processes, materials, or methods to improve yield and reliability
  • Take ownership of setting up and running a production-lab sequence independently
  • Work in a highly practical, hands-on manner within the production environment

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree with proven hands-on experience in IGBT module processes
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor module manufacturing processes
  • Practical knowledge of soldering techniques and failure mechanisms
  • Experience with wire-bonding processes and related reliability concerns
  • Ability to analyze process flows and identify root causes of defects
  • Familiarity with multiple diagnostic and evaluation techniques
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a practical, hands-on approach
