We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements before reaching our customers. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant UK quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Ensure products meet internal specifications and customer requirements
- Identify defects and non-conformances, and support root cause analysis
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Support internal audits and external compliance requirements
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the business
Essential Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
- Knowledge of measurement tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
- Familiarity with ERP or quality management systems
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance (desirable)
