We’re looking for a reliable and technically confidentSound & Live Production Technicianto join our church team and take responsibility for the smooth technical delivery of our services, rehearsals and events.
This is a practical, hands-on role covering the key areas of live church production, includinglive sound, video and streaming, presentation and stage lighting.
We’re looking for someone with solid technical foundations, experience in a live environment, a practical approach to problem-solving and the willingness to continue learning and developing within the role.
Key responsibilities
- Mixing and managing live sound for worship, speech and other service content
- Setting up and managing microphones, monitors and stage audio
- Supporting live video production, cameras and streaming
- Operating presentation software for lyrics, sermon notes, videos and other media
- Supporting and operating stage lighting
- Preparing, checking and maintaining AV and production equipment
- Troubleshooting technical issues during live services and events
- Working closely with worship teams, speakers, church leaders and volunteers
- Supporting and coordinating volunteers within the technical team
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment, systems and production workflows, and suggesting practical, cost-effective solutions
Experience & skills
We’re looking for someone with experience insound and live productionand a good practical understanding of AV systems.
Experience with some of the following would be beneficial: live sound mixing and digital consoles, microphones and audio signal flow, live streaming and video production, cameras and video switching, ProPresenter or similar presentation software, stage lighting, cabling and general AV troubleshooting.
Previous experience in a church, worship or live event environment would be an advantage, but strong technical foundations and a willingness to learn are equally important.
Working hours
This is a part‑time position of approximately10 fixed hours per week, plus occasional additional hours for rehearsals, special services and events.
- Sundays:approximately 9:30am-1:30pm
- Thursdays:7:30pm-9:00pm
- First Friday of each month:approximately 6:45pm-9:15pm
The remaining fixed hours are used for preparation, equipment checks, maintenance and other production‑related tasks. Some flexibility for additional church events and special services is required, with dates arranged in advance wherever possible.
About you
You’ll be reliable, calm under pressure and comfortable taking ownership of the technical side of live services and events. You should be able to work independently as well as with a wider team, communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical people, and take a proactive approach to solving problems and improving systems.
As this role is within Lithuanian Christian Church, the successful candidate will be expected torespect and work in accordance with the church’s Christian ethos, values and principles.
