Test Lead, Test Manager, Hands on Testing, Project – New Case management system, Exceptional communication and organisational skills. A PEOPLE PERSON.
9 months, Outside IR35, Remote working with occasional office visits to Northwest location. Rate is circa £400-450 per day DOE.
Our small-medium sized professional services client needs a Test Lead who can be both strategic (planning) and hands on. The project is to roll out a Document Management system across the different business areas. This will be working closely with business stakeholders to embed use of the new system functionality (data migration, process change) across the whole business.
The Test Lead will need to engage 6 business testers (users from the business departments) and the key to this role is to support these people to give them the test scripts, structure, communication, monitoring to lead the test process end to end. We are also looking for an adaptable professional to work well within the transformation project team (PM, BA, Change Management, Tech resources). For example, our client doesn’t have a tester in house, so it really is up to the Test Lead to own this test process and ensure the new system is embraced by the business after roll out. We also need someone to react pro-actively to changing business needs as our client is not mature regarding change management and projects of this size.
Key deliverables:
Test Planning: Develop a comprehensive test plan, including unit/module, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies.
Test Case Development: Oversee the creation of test cases and test scripts that align with business requirements and system specifications.
Test Environment Management: Ensure that test environments are properly configured and available for testing activities.
Test Execution: Manage the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough testing across all system components.
Defect Management: Track and manage defects identified during testing, working with developers and the project team to ensure timely resolution.
Test Reporting: Provide regular reports on testing progress, including the number of test cases executed, passed, failed, and any defects found.
Our client will interview w/c 6th Jan, 2025. Start mid-Jan 2025.
