Lithium3 are seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst to support the delivery of a strategic global ERP transformation focused on international trade, customs compliance, logistics, and cross-border business processes. 3 days per week onsite in Yeovil. £500 per day - £550 per day. Outside IR35.
The successful Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists to analyse current processes, define future-state requirements, and ensure successful implementation of integrated ERP capabilities. We need strong experience of working on complex ERP programmes and nice to have’s are: trade compliance, customs processes, import/export operations, and integration with finance, procurement, sales, and logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and standardisation.
- Produce high-quality functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and business process documentation.
- Work with business users to define future-state processes aligned with organisational objectives.
- Support solution design by collaborating with functional consultants and technical development teams.
- Facilitate workshops across multiple business functions including Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Compliance.
- Assist with data mapping, migration activities, and process validation.
- Coordinate and support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect management.
- Develop test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and training materials.
- Support change management activities, user training, and business readiness.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing support during deployment and post-go-live stabilisation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale ERP implementation programmes.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Supply Chain business processes.
- Experience working with international trade, customs, import/export, or regulatory compliance processes.
- Strong business process modelling skills using BPMN, Visio, or similar tools.
- Experience writing functional requirements, business cases, process documentation, and user stories.
- Knowledge of systems integration and interfaces between ERP applications and third-party platforms.
- Experience supporting testing activities including SIT and UAT.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
