A leading organisation in the not-for-profit sector is looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to drive major improvements across their cloud and Microsoft security landscape. This is a chance to make a real impact while working remotely, with only twice-monthly travel to the East Midlands.
You’ll be the technical security lead across cloud infrastructure, delivering secure-by-design solutions, improving security posture, and implementing modern Microsoft security technologies.
What type of Projects you’ll Work On?
- Cyber Security Accreditations: Deliver Cyber Essentials Plus and IASME Cyber Assurance.
- Data Privacy: Reduce compliance risk using Microsoft E5 Compliance tools (DLP, Data Classification, eDiscovery), Conditional Access and App Protection Policies.
- Identify control gaps, risk-map cloud services and strengthen technical controls.
- Microsoft Secure Score: Implement improvements across Identity, Data, Device and App security.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune endpoint security.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Defender suite, DLP and data protection technologies.
- Azure AD, AADDS, Enterprise Apps and Azure governance (Policy, IAM, Conditional Access).
- Office 365 security and compliance.
- Experience improving Microsoft Secure Score and Defender 365 posture.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
