At Lithia UK, strong purchasing and vendor management are essential to delivering reliable, high-quality technology services across the business. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Technology & Innovation Purchasing Co-Ordinator to support the end-to-end purchasing of technology and specialist IT services.
Working closely with the Head of Service & Vendor Management, Technology & Innovation teams, Finance, HR and external suppliers, you’ll play a key role in ensuring purchasing activity is efficient, compliant and delivers best value.
Your Journey as a Purchasing Coordinator:
- Act as the main point of contact for IT purchasing requests and escalations, overseeing end-to-end purchasing activity in line with SLAs, policies and standard operating procedures.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams, securing quotations, managing delivery schedules, resolving issues and achieving best value wherever possible.
- Create and manage purchase orders, reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies and support budget tracking, ensuring full compliance with agreed governance and controls.
- Lead purchasing activity for technology-related projects, including acquisitions, divestments and closures, coordinating suppliers and stakeholders to meet project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of software licences, renewals and hardware assets, manage IT stock levels, and ensure renewals and replenishment are planned and delivered on time.
- Maintain high-quality purchasing data, produce MI reports on spend, activity and vendor performance, and use insights to support informed decision-making and process improvement.
