HR Administration Supervisor (Hybrid, mostly remote with the expectation to attend Group HR meetings. The typical meeting locations for this role are Nottingham and Milton Keynes so the successful candidate must be willing to travel to these locations).

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our employee lifecycle processes run smoothly, compliantly, and to the highest standard, while supporting and developing a team of HR Administrators. What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the HR Administration function, ensuring a high‑quality, efficient and compliant service is delivered across the business.
  • Lead, support and develop a team of HR Administrators, creating a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle administration process, including onboarding, contractual changes and terminations.
  • Ensure all People & Culture data is maintained accurately across systems, with a strong focus on compliance and data integrity.
  • Monitor service levels and team performance to ensure tasks are completed accurately and within agreed SLAs.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex administrative queries, supporting the team with problem‑solving and resolution management.
  • Build strong working relationships with Payroll, Resourcing, Systems teams and operational stakeholders across the business.
  • Support People Partners and operational leaders with accurate employee information and administrative guidance.
  • Take ownership of administration‑related audit activity, ensuring all documentation and processes are fully compliant.
  • Ensure all employee documentation is retained and managed in line with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Manage updates to contracts, handbooks and policy documentation.
  • Ensure compliance across FCA regulations, Right to Work checks and driving licence verification processes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience leading or supervising an HR Administration, Shared Services or People Operations team.
  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle administration processes and HR compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience improving processes and driving operational efficiencies within an administration function.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Experience working with HR systems and maintaining high levels of data accuracy and integrity.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the confidence to make decisions and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience managing workloads, prioritisation and team performance against SLAs and deadlines.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle escalated or complex queries professionally.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
