As a Vehicle Technician Apprentice, you'll combine hands‑on experience in our dealerships with structured training and the support of an experienced mentor. You'll work towards achieving an IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance, setting you up to become a fully qualified Vehicle Technician. You don't need previous experience in the automotive industry to apply – we expect you to learn on the job. If you're curious, motivated and willing to learn, we'll give you the training, support and mentoring you need to succeed and build a long‑term career as a Vehicle Technician.
Please note that if you are successful you will be required to attend the Porsche / Calex Training Academy in Slough as outlined below.
Training Schedule- 1st Year: 6 separate visits, each for 4 nights
- 2nd Year: 6 separate visits, each for 4 nights
- 3rd Year: 6 separate visits, each for 4 nights
- Learning to service vehicles, checking and maintaining them following clear instructions
- Learning to diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components
- Carry out vehicle checks and inspections
- Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance to vehicles
- Maintain repair and service records on the in‑house computer system and for customers
- Apprentice salary, pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services
