As a Zero Hour Parts Delivery Driver, you'll work hard to ensure all of our customers receive the correct parts every single time. Working alongside the parts department means you'll be a great communicator, organised and methodical, and of course, a great driver. Your Journey as a Parts Delivery Driver:
- Deliver parts to our trade customer's business address, ensuring the collection and/or completion of all required paperwork.
- Receive and record the collection of payments from customers where required.
- Ensure that vehicles used for delivery are kept clean, safe, roadworthy and serviced in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Keep the 'Drivers' Log' up to date.
- Handle all dealings with customers courteously.
Qualifications:
- A full UK manual driving licence is essential, with confidence to drive a range of vehicles.
- Good local knowledge of the road and motorway networks.
- Previous driving/delivery experience across multiple transport routes and with a range of vehicles.
- Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to plan travel routes, manage time effectively and work productively as part of a busy team.
