Business Improvement Specialist – HRIS (Workday) (Hybrid) (Fixed-term 12 months)

As a Business Improvement Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for optimising our HR and payroll platforms, focusing on Workday. You’ll work closely with HR, Payroll, IT and cross-functional teams, ensuring our systems run seamlessly and deliver an exceptional user experience.

This is a role where your technical know-how, collaborative mindset, and attention to detail will make a real impact — helping us improve our HR operations and create an intuitive, effective experience for every user. Whether it’s optimising core processes, supporting system users, or exploring new Workday features, you’ll be at the heart of our digital HR evolution.

Your Journey as a Business Improvement Specialist:

  • Oversee the configuration of key Workday modules, from compensation and benefits to job profiles, cost centres, and supervisory structures- ensuring our systems are set up to drive success across every corner of the business
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and alignment with GDPR standards
  • Be the go-to problem solver for system queries, tackling service tickets and resolving issues swiftly to keep the user experience running smoothly
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver insightful reports using Workday’s reporting tools, helping the business make data-driven decisions
  • Review and refine existing HR processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT to align system configurations with business objectives and user needs
  • Craft clear, engaging user guides and training resources, making sure every colleague is set up for success when using our systems
