As a Master Paint Technician, you'll be tasked with carrying out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles in our new, state-of-the-art workshops. Working with all the latest equipment, you will also be responsible for minor body repair work for vehicles. To be a Master Paint Technician, it is essential that you hold a full UK drivers' licence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles, as well as minor body repair work.
- Prepare paint spraying equipment and bodywork of the car.
- Maintain and clean equipment, as well as store the paints in the correct conditions.
- Manage inventory of paints and equipment.
Qualifications
- A relevant Body and Paint Maintenance qualification (City and Guilds, IMI or BTEC).
- Experience in painting, but not necessarily automotive, with a willingness to learn industry‑specific techniques.
Terms & Conditions
- Permanent, full‑time position.
- Basic salary of £36,400, dependent on skills and experience.
- OTE from £46,400, with UNCAPPED EARNING POTENTIAL.
- £50,000 per year (including bonus potential).
