We’re working with a boutique business and technology consultancy delivering large-scale, multi-year transformation programmes across enterprise clients. They are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect from a consulting background to take ownership of enterprise vision, cloud-first strategy, and data-led modernisation initiatives within complex organisations.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of transformation programmes. You will define target-state architectures, shape technology roadmaps, establish governance principles, and bridge business strategy with engineering execution. With a strong engineering mindset, you’ll be comfortable going deep technically while also operating at C-suite level — translating architectural direction into clear commercial value.

A major focus will be cloud, data, and integration. You’ll lead cloud-first designs across AWS, Azure or GCP, own migration and integration streams, and define scalable API, middleware, and event-driven architectures. Experience supporting omnichannel or customer-centric platform transformation (CRM, ERP, POS, eCommerce, loyalty, data platforms) will be highly valued.

We’re looking for 12+ years’ architecture experience within enterprise or consulting environments, a proven track record delivering complex transformation programmes, and strong stakeholder leadership across global, multi-vendor ecosystems. If you thrive in ambiguity, bring clarity to complexity, and enjoy shaping enterprise-scale modernisation at executive level, this role offers significant scope and influence. Some experience in the retail sector is also a must.

The salary package on offer is a base up to £105k with the possibility of a small bonus up to £110k according to success. There's a great pension (with salary sacrifice options) and medical insurance for you and your family. Please note this is a hybrid position where consultants are expected to be onsite 2 days/week if possible. For exceptional candidates who live distances that make this preclusive there may be some negotiation, but some onsite presence will be required.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS URGENT AND WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN START IN 1-2 WEEKS. ALSO PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE CURRENT AUTHORISATION TO WORK UNRESTRICTED IN THE UK.
