Role Overview

Head of Operations reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with other section heads across manufacturing/production, R&D and administrative departments. The role requires oversight of compliance, maintenance of certificates, implementation of automation programmes and strategic change initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance and maintenance of current quality certifying standards.
  • Lead the process to obtain new certificates.
  • Initiate and manage strategic changes to improve operations.
  • Implement automation programmes and new ways of working.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D and administration to drive improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience as an operations manager in the manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with injection moulding or similar industries.
  • Strong track record of initiating and managing change.
  • In‑depth knowledge of relevant compliances.
  • Awareness of manufacturing trends and technology developments that can improve product offerings.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days/week and ability to commute or relocate to Stone, Staffordshire.
  • Authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship for the next 5 years.
