As part of our strategic growth and commitment to fostering collaboration and operational excellence, we are transitioning to a hybrid working model. This position is based in the UK and candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance, as this role requires on-site presence at least three days per week. This hybrid approach enables us to build a collaborative and innovative work environment.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession, in the full SDLC from preliminary system analysis to testing and deployment. This role includes building high quality and fully performing software that meets quality and software development standards.
A Day in the Life/Role Responsibilities:- Ability to work independently without instructions on most tasks
- Participate in requirements reviews
- Gain expert knowledge of some areas of the codebase and underlying technologies
- Share your knowledge as needed and contribute to the overall development of the team and product
- 4+ years of experience using a modern object-oriented language (C# strongly preferred)
- 2+ years experience with SQL, EF, LINQ
- Experience with frontend web frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Durandal, Knockout)
- Experience in crafting robust scalable APIs
- Experience in SaaS software development
- Experience modernizing complex SaaS products
- Experience with AI tooling and/or Agentic development
- Good communication and presentation skills
