Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the site and cleaning teams
  • Ensure the security of the school premises, including key holder duties and emergency call-outs
  • Oversee planned maintenance, compliance checks and site development projects
  • Manage site health & safety procedures, including risk assessments, COSHH and fire safety
  • Coordinate and monitor contractors and service providers
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and functionality across both sites
  • Undertake hands-on duties including repairs, maintenance and porterage
  • Support lettings, events, and out-of-hours activities as required

Qualifications
  • Experience in site management, facilities, or premises maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance and building maintenance
  • Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to undertake key holder responsibilities, including occasional emergency call-outs
  • Physically capable of carrying out manual duties
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., trade skills, IOSH, COSHH, First Aid) desirable; training can be provided for the right candidate
