We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our experienced reception/admin team. We are a friendly partnership looking for people to strengthen our team with the possibility of training and development. Great communication skills are required as this will be a predominantly patient-facing role.
Main duties of the job:
- Engage with patients face to face in the reception area
- Booking appointments
- As well as many other administrative tasks as required.

Job responsibilities:
- To provide positive, friendly and helpful customer service to our patients, both in person and on the telephone.
- Book, confirm and cancel appointments and handle enquiries.
- Compose, print, mail and scan correspondence.
- Ensure the correct processing of administrative tasks.
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Support and promote Health and Safety practice at the surgery.
- Support and cover other staff members as necessary.
We require the following hours currently:
- Monday - 08:00 to 18:30
- Wednesday - 13:30 to 18:30
- Thursday - 08:00 to 13:00
- Friday - 08:00 to 18:30
Total 30 hours per week.
Person Specification:
- Great Communication Skills
- Experience in primary care
- Basic IT skills
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check
