A specialty chemical and high-performance materials manufacturer that is committed to improving the world through innovation. These products are used in a variety of demanding applications, including plastic processing, automotive, oil exploration, bio fractions and technical textiles.
The Sales Manager owns the commercial performance of allocated customer accounts across Europe, with full accountability for developing and executing the regional sales plan. Delivers against agreed forecasts and targets, aligned with Sales Leadership and broader business objectives.
Leads key customer relationships, driving account performance and long-term value creation. Drives opportunities through a structured pipeline, ensuring regular review and alignment with the Business Unit.
Own full accountability for the commercial performance of the assigned territory, including revenue, margin, and profitability targets. Drive sustainable growth through proactive opportunity identification, pipeline development, and conversion of new business.
Lead the end-to-end sales process, from technical validation through to contract award, ensuring pace, rigour, and strong conversion. Identify and prioritise high-value opportunities across adhesives, coatings, and related specialty chemical markets.
Lead complex commercial negotiations, securing favourable terms while protecting long-term customer value. Manage pricing strategy, quotations, and contract agreements in line with internal governance and market dynamics.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth, retention, and increased share of wallet. Build senior-level customer relationships, acting as a trusted commercial partner.
Contribute to annual budgeting and ongoing performance tracking against business objectives. Manage a pan-European territory, adapting approach to different cultural and commercial environments, with regular travel.
Experience in sales preferably in high performance B2B (Chemical) sales. Other languages would be a significant benefit – Italian/French/Spanish. Effective sales experience including excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
