Client Overview: Listgrove is working with a leader in polymer compounding, who have joined forces with a producer of bio-based additives. The aim of this partnership is to drive a more sustainable product range into the plastics industry using the power of plants.

Role Overview: Collaborate with the existing sales teams across both companies, to support and drive ongoing projects, whilst identifying new business opportunities. Targeting brand owners to elicit their buy in and help promote the flow of business down to the manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive both current and new sales opportunities within set budgets set out by the company.
  • Work closely with the technical teams, to enable the timely completion of projects.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential customers, tracking progress to conversion.
  • Network at conferences and trade shows to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Confidently engage with customers from both SMEs and blue-chip companies.
  • Factor in production costs, gross profit, freight, storage, credit insurance, and finance charges.
  • Target 15-20 customer meetings per month through face to face meetings and online media.
  • Lead a quarterly meeting to review pipeline and sales activities.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in direct B2B sales into brand owners.
  • Accomplished sales person driving new business.
  • Experienced selling polymers or additives.
  • Sales of bio-based materials.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable with overseas travel.
  • Strong communicator.
