The Company:
Our client is a leading and established manufacturer with a strong reputation for providing innovative technical solutions. The company is experiencing very good growth in line with the demand for its safety critical products and a modern IT infrastructure is important to ensure the business keeps pace with market requirements. This interim role is required to oversee a busy IT support function and to ensure it delivers against key project milestones.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate must have a proven track record of people management, be able to quickly adapt into the company's environment and have experience of delivering complex IT projects to required timescales. You will work closely with the key stakeholders of the business and therefore be able to present at senior level, whilst also being 'hands-on' to ensure the IT team is fully supported in meeting their objectives.
The Profile:
- Currently operating as an interim senior IT manager/leader and experienced within a manufacturing environment; including experience of managing change.
- IT experience to include ERP system knowledge and other IT infrastructure associated with a manufacturing company operating across multiple sites.
- Strategic IT experience and capability of operating at ‘Group’ level.
- People management experience; extensive and good track record of managing technical teams including local and 3rd party supplier management.
- Great interpersonal and people skills with the ability to deal with internal/external customers and IT suppliers/partners at all levels.
