Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our Audi team at our Coventry site. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30am - 1:00pm (41.5 hours per week).
You will play a key role in preparing used vehicles to Audi's high standards before delivery to customers. Your responsibilities will include carrying out multipoint inspections, routine servicing, maintenance, accessory fitting, and mechanical repairs.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive basic salary of up to £34,000 with an OTE of up to £42,000, plus an excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections on used vehicles to Audi standards
- Perform mechanical repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct visual inspections of vehicle exteriors and interiors
- Fit approved accessories
- Complete all relevant documentation prior to vehicle handover
- Carry out road testing where necessary
About You
To be considered, you must have previous experience in a similar role as either a fully qualified or part-qualified technician. A full UK driving licence is essential, as road testing may be required.
We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join Listers.
As a minimum you will hold or be working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you.
