Job Introduction
Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Volkswagen Evesham.
The hours of work for our Vehicle Technicians are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, as well as working 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 1pm.
Basic Salary up to £35,000 with OTE up to £38,000 plus benefits.

Role and Responsibilities

Our technicians are responsible for the servicing, repair, and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
The main responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
Additional responsibilities may include repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, including the use of electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs & control systems.
You will have the ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
You will understand the importance of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
Training will be provided to operate additional systems, such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
You will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
Working closely with other workshop team members to learn and share knowledge.

About you

We consider candidates from all backgrounds with experience in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
Whether you work at an independent garage, fast-fit centre, car supermarket, or main dealer, we are interested in talking to you.
You should hold or be working towards NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
An MOT License is also beneficial but not essential.
A full UK Driving license is required.
