Job Introduction
Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Toyota Grantham. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, as well as working 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am to 1pm.
Our packages and pay plans are industry-leading and are reflective of each applicant\’s experience and skillset.
Basic salary ranges from: £32,000 – £43,000
Bonus / OTE ranges from £38,000 – £50,000

Role and Responsibilities
Our technicians are responsible for the servicing, repair, and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
The main responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
Additional responsibilities may involve repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, including the use of electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
You will have the ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
You will understand Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
You will be trained to operate additional systems, such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
You will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
You will work closely with other workshop team members to learn and share knowledge.
About you
We consider candidates from all backgrounds with experience in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join Listers.
Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket, or main dealer, we would like to hear from you.
You should hold or be working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
An MOT license is also beneficial but not essential.
A full UK Driving license is required.
