Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Audi Coventry. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm including Saturdays on a rota basis. We offer industry leading basic salaries & bonus and are reflective of each applicant's experience and skillset. Basic Salary up to £37,000 with OTE up to £42,000 plus benefits.
As a Technician at Listers, you will be at the forefront of utilising our state of the art systems to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with all vehicles. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our customers' vehicles, providing outstanding customer support, and collaborating with different departments across the business to achieve goals. Our well-equipped and modern facilities provide a professional environment for our staff whilst delivering a seamless service to our customers. Role and Responsibilities:
- Servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time.
- Electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing.
- Repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on areas such as batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack & control systems.
- Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
- Maintain a full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
- Operate additional systems such as video reporting (i.e. CitNOW).
- Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Work closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
About you:
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
- NVQ Level 3 or working towards completion of an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous.
- MOT license is beneficial.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge and ability to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
