An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Manager to join our Land Rover Dealership in Hereford. Hours of work are 08:00 - 18:00, Monday to Fridays and one in 4 Saturdays 9:00 - 13:00.
The Workshop Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum productivity in the workshop, liaising between Service Advisors and Technicians, ensuring that all required work is actioned effectively and efficiently.
- Managing the workflow of all jobs to brand standard.
- Manage a team of Technicians ensuring workflow through the workshop is done in an efficient and effective manner.
- Manage the performance of the workshop to ensure that KPI targets are achieved.
- Manage and plan workshop/support resources to ensure that work requirements are fulfilled.
- Support the service department with specifications and coding of non-standard, complex jobs and ensure all such work is approved with customers prior to any work being started.
- Manage the handover of complex or potentially contentious jobs (invoices, claims) to ensure full buy-in and agreement from the customer (Retail or Internal).
This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked within a dealership as either a Trainee Workshop Controller, Experienced Workshop Foreman or Experienced Workshop Controller and are looking to Listers for more opportunities to progress.
