We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join our Land Rover dealership in Hereford. Enjoy a five-day working week – a rarity within the motor trade. The role operates on a rota basis, with working hours of 8:30am–6:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am–5:00pm on Saturdays. You will work five days per week, including Saturdays, with one scheduled day off during the week. We offer an excellent remuneration package, including a company car, comprehensive benefits, and an On-Target Earnings of £65,000. Role and Responsibilities
- Grow all aspects of sales gross profit, specialising in finance, insurance and value added products.
- Be at the core of customer enquiries and assist in developing the sales team.
- Discuss the financial requirements of our customers.
- Advise customers on finance, insurance, warranties and other services offered by our dealerships.
- Ensure customers have a clear understanding of obligations they are entering into.
- Work closely with members of the sales team and provide coaching and assistance.
- Propose financial agreements to our nominated lenders.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and FCA compliant.
About you
- You may be an existing retail manager, sales manager, sales controller or looking for your first step into management.
- You will be confident in discussing and identifying individual/company requirements.
- Have an outstanding record of sales achievement with exceptional finance sales performance.
- Highly organised to ensure that all company, manufacturer and finance house paperwork is correct and FCA compliant.
- Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
