Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our Volvo team at our Leamington Spa site.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30am - 1:00pm (41.5 hours per week).
You will play a key role in preparing new & used vehicles to Volvo's high standards before delivery to customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out multipoint inspections
- Routine servicing
- Maintenance
- Accessory fitting
- Mechanical repairs
Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive basic salary of up to £34,000 with an OTE of up to £40,000, plus an excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new & used vehicles to Volvo standards
- Perform mechanical repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct visual inspections of vehicle exteriors and interiors
- Fit approved accessories
- Complete all relevant documentation prior to vehicle handover
- Carry out road testing where necessary
About You: To be considered, you must have previous experience in a similar role as either a fully qualified or part-qualified technician. A full UK driving licence is essential, as road testing may be required.
We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join Listers.
As a minimum, you will hold or be working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you.
