We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join the management team at our Toyota Dealership in Grantham. This is a full-time role, working on average a 5-day working week across Monday - Sunday, working between the hours of 08:30 - 18:00, based on a 40-hour week. You will be working on a rota which includes having one weekday off every week plus every other weekend off. Excellent package including a company car & benefits with an OTE £75,000.
The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines.
Role and Responsibilities:- You will build trust, communicate effectively and exceed our customers' expectations; ensuring that our customers' buying experience is industry leading.
- You will be accountable for handling customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively.
- Support the sales team in daily operations including but not limited to customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, professional vehicle preparation whilst ensuring that stock is kept to the company's agreed levels.
- Drive the sales process and support the sales team in achieving their monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration and add-on products, to ensure budgetary sales/profit forecasts are achieved.
- Accurate completion of all paperwork and providing reports on all sales activities ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
- Ensure that the sales team accurately and vigorously collect all customer contact and vehicle data in order to maximise the quality and content of the customer database (adhering to the Company’s FCA obligations).

You must be able to demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
